MY PRESUMED LEGACY
Life is so short for people with so much expectation and even shorter for those who only assumes. They say life has so much to offer but we rarely think of what we could offer life. For whatever we do with our life… it is what we offer back to the ONE – who gives it!
In this life… we are all pilgrims in search of a special place and travelers worthy of a journey. As we trek a long undetermined path – called life… we either choose the right or the wrong direction. Knowing the difference between the two… sometimes comes when we already traversed the “one-way” crossroad.
God has given us the freewill and the right to undo the wrong choices we made… but not all. For when we reached the end of the road, sometimes, it is also the end of our journey. And oftentimes, the road less traveled… is also the road unexplored.
I wish I could live forever because – only then… that I will be able to see, explore and experience all the places under the sun.
I wish I could have all the time in the world because – only then… that I will be able to read, discover and learn from all the books written on earth.
I wish too that my enthusiasm for writing could forever remains aflame because – only then… that I will be able to put into words all those nagging thoughts that feed on my desire.
But immortality can only be preserved and imprinted on the pages of the books and reality sinks deeper as I tried to accept this truth.
So I have traveled and I have arrived. And I have also accepted the fact that sooner or later… when I need to travel my last… I will be able to leave behind a past – worthy of immortality.
