I was busy writing down receipts from the payments I received from parents when I suddenly felt the cold wind brushed against my already cold cheeks. I knew someone came in because that cold wind must have come from an open door. It was only a quarter past six in the morning and [...] WHEN I WAS A STUDENT… vacation time was my favorite subject aside from “recess”. Whose kid doesn’t like vacation and recess, anyway? It is the best idea that school had every come up with. Vacation means… you don’t have to wake up early and hit the shower so you won’t be late [...] The hardest lesson I learned from being a teacher is… to un-teach myself. Life is a teaching-learning process and the world is your classroom. And being an educator is not just a profession (I wish it were)… it is a lifetime commitment. The compensation is not much but huge in other “fringe” [...] People are basically proud of their achievements. Who aren’t? Achievements give people a sense of pride and power. But… some people are also basically humble of their achievements. Why not? Achievements sometimes give people a sense of humility too. Maybe… achievements can make people either proud or humble.
