It was my 1st day at work. Everything seemed all new to me. Of course, everything was indeed new to me because I am no longer a teacher… in the classroom… with my lesson plan on one hand… and with a box of chalk on the other. Of course, everything was [...] Once a teacher… always a teacher. I believe in that. Though I am not in the teaching profession right now and doing everything to avoid teaching… I can feel deep in my heart that one day I will be back in the classroom. And even if I had tons of alibis to [...] “Go get Nick! Go get Nick!”… the kids shouted in unison. “Tag him! Tag him!”… as the adrenalin rush sent a thundering chant so loud filling the entire gym with excitement. Nick was sneaky and slippery like snake but with one quick and fast turn fueled with hormonal competitive instinct… I changed phase [...] Having been out of work for almost a year now gives me the stress I have never experienced when I was still working. Strange but true. Work is one of the reasons why people are stressed out. But I have never realized that being at home and not working is more stressful [...] just had a thought of you.. Before, I was asking myself even other people why you hated me, why you were so mean to me. Then as time goes by and as I’m growing older, I realized that I was stubborn, and blinded to see what’s your real intention. I realized you didn’t [...] |
